HARRISON, John J, 58, of Holiday, FL, formerly of Harrington Park, NJ (August 21st, 1958-August 5th, 2017). John is survived by his loving mother Margaret (nee Flusk); brothers Richard and Daniel, sisters Maureen Gower, Meg, Marianne Illian and Madeline Adami. John did not have children but had 14 nieces and nephews whom he loved very much. He is predeceased by his father Richard Sr. John was a lover of horses and attended Meredith Manor School of Horsemanship in Waverly, WV; where he graduated with Honors. HARRISON, John J, 58, of Holiday, FL, formerly of Harrington Park, NJ (August 21st, 1958-August 5th, 2017). John is survived by his loving mother Margaret (nee Flusk); brothers Richard and Daniel, sisters Maureen Gower, Meg, Marianne Illian and Madeline Adami. John did not have children but had 14 nieces and nephews whom he loved very much. He is predeceased by his father Richard Sr. John was a lover of horses and attended Meredith Manor School of Horsemanship in Waverly, WV; where he graduated with Honors. John started his career at Bingham Quarter Horses in Harvard, IL. He returned to NJ and worked as a glazier at Suburban Glass in Closter, NJ. After a number of years he moved to Montgomery, NY to work with horses once again at Fox Lair Farm. A few years ago John decided to escape the cold weather and moved to Holiday, FL where he was very happy with his girlfriend Sherrie and their dog Dante. The family will receive their relatives and friends at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ on Friday, August, 18th from 5-9 PM. A Memorial Mass celebrating John's life and faith will be held at Our Lady of Victories R.C. Church in Harrington Park, NJ on Saturday, August 19th at 10:30 AM.
