KAMFOR, Joseph P. Sr., 75, of Hillsdale, NJ, passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2017. He is predeceased by his wife, Patricia Kamfor (nee Barnable) and survived by his three children; Donna Marie, Patricia and Thomas Bailey, and Joseph, Jr. and Mary Tighe. Joseph grew up in Hell's Kitchen, Manhattan until moving to Hillsdale in 1966. Joe adored his family, especially his wife Patsy. He also loved the Jets and fishing. KAMFOR, Joseph P. Sr., 75, of Hillsdale, NJ, passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2017. He is predeceased by his wife, Patricia Kamfor (nee Barnable) and survived by his three children; Donna Marie, Patricia and Thomas Bailey, and Joseph, Jr. and Mary Tighe. Joseph grew up in Hell's Kitchen, Manhattan until moving to Hillsdale in 1966. Joe adored his family, especially his wife Patsy. He also loved the Jets and fishing. From 1962 until his retirement in 2007, he was a member of Local 644 in New York City where he worked as a cameraman on various film crews covering local and international news stories for networks NBC, WNEW, ABC/Eyewitness News. In 1983 he was promoted to lighting director covering national and world news for the shows Primetime Thursday, Nightline, World News Tonight and 20/20. The family will receive their relatives and friends at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ on Wednesday, November 15 from 2-4 and 7-9PM. The Funeral Mass celebrating Joseph's life and faith will be held at St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, Hillsdale, NJ on Thursday, November 16 at 10AM. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Foundation.
